FLOOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

I. INTRODUCTORY CONCEPT
Having clean floors might seem like it’s not a big deal. It is because everyone knows
that life gets in the way of having time to clean. Who cares if there are a few crumbs on the
floor? Or, if your hardwood floors are not as shiny as they could be? Regardless of whether
your floors are hardwood, vinyl, linoleum, carpet or another surface, it is best to have your
floors cleaned regularly. It is because of the many benefits cleaning your floors can offer
you and your home.
However, it should not be just cleaning but maintaining as well. Maintaining the
appearance of a floor requires daily cleaning. It will help to decrease the damage, avoid
some unexpected accidents or even saving money.
This lesson will help you understand what are the proper ways of maintaining
different types of floor and the precautions you must observed while doing it. Yet,
performance tasks must be given for you to apply the skills you have learned.
