Capacity building for teachers and school strategic
planning and direction setting are crucial elements in ensuring
the success and sustainability of educational institutions. In
my role as an educator, I have had the opportunity to
participate in various capacity building workshops and
sessions focused on these topics. Through these experiences
I have reflected on the importance of these initiatives and their
impact on my personal and professional development as a
teacher.

I have been able to learn new teaching methods,

incorporate technology in the classroom, and improve my
assessment and evaluation skills. These new skills have not
only made me a better teacher but also helped me to enhance
the learning experience of my students.

Moreover, the school strategic planning and direction

setting process has provided me with a comprehensive
understanding of the school’s goals, vision, and mission. This
has allowed me to align my teaching practices with the
school’s overall direction and contribute to the realization of its
objectives. The strategic planning process has also helped me
to see the bigger picture and understand the role that I play in
the school’s success.

In conclusion, capacity building for teachers and school

strategic planning and direction setting are essential
components of an effective educational system. They provide
teachers with the opportunity to develop their skills and
improve their teaching practices, while also contributing to the
success and sustainability of the school. As an educator, I am
grateful for the opportunities that I have had to participate in
these initiatives and I am confident that they will continue to
shape and improve my teaching practices in the future.
