Technical Requirements
Requirements to run MarineRegulations.
Hardware Requirements:
MarineRegulations works on mobiles, tablets and computers. Including, Apple/Android phones and tablets, Mac/Windows
computers.
Software Requirements:
For general-use MarineRegulations will work on all web browsers apart from Internet Explorer.
To make full use of the offline features, one of the following web browsers should be used:
- For Laptops/PCs:
o Google Chrome (Windows and Apple) – Version 73 onwards
o Firefox (Windows and Apple)
o Safari (for Apple) web browsers
o Microsoft Edge (for Windows) web browsers
- For Tablets: Chrome and Safari web browsers
- For Mobiles: Chrome and Safari web browsers
2. IMPORTANT: The offline features have been optimized and quality assured on the above-
mentioned web browsers. Please do not use MarineRegulations on other web browsers.

1. Once the user registers their password by following the instruction in the email sent from
support@marineregulations.com titled “[MarineRegulations] User signed up” they will have access to the
system.
For Google Chrome, create a Desktop Shortcut by via any of the below options marked with arrows.
IMPORTANT FOR VESSELS: Please stay logged into MarineRegulations i.e. do not use the logout
function on-board. Only use the logout function if you have a stable internet connection.

It is recommended for the shore-side admin user/s to manage what documents the ships should have offline access to.
Step 2: Share the group with other users or ships by clicking the
icon and selecting the relevant people and/or ships.
The following notification will let the user know the group has
been shared successfully.
Step 3: The other users or ships login, go into My Documents and clicks Save group for offline.
The download will begin, and once completed the documents will be available offline. The ship will not be able to delete
or amend any groups shared by admin users.
If followed correctly, the user will have access to the required documents when disconnected from the internet. When
disconnected from the internet, MarineRegulations will look as follows:
- The Homepage will revert to its “Offline Mode” and only the selected documents will be accessible.
- Certain features become inaccessible and says “Not available while offline” when hovered over with the mouse.
