CARBOPLAST G-2002

Ultra-High Range Water Reducing & Retarding Hyper

Plasticizer for Concrete

Description

CarboPlast G-2002 is a third generation polycarboxylic plasticizer for concrete, developed to obtain
Reduction of 30% water whilst enhancing workability, durability & impermeability.

• Increases early and ultimate compressive strength.

• Higher Flexural Strength and E modulus.
• Excellent flowability resulting from electrostatic dispersion and steric hinderance of carboxylic ether
polymer.
• Reduces thermal peaks.
• Strong self-compacting behaviour
• Improves pump-ability of concrete.
• Improves trowel-ability & surface finish.
• Reduces the incidence of honeycombing and cold joints during vibration.

Recommended Uses

• Microsilica and GGBFS based concrete.

• High Strength Concrete.
• Pre-cast concrete manufacturing.
• Ready mix concrete.
• Pumped Concrete.
• SCC Concrete.

Application Guidelines

Setting Time:
CarboPlast G-2002 ensures that rehoplastic concrete remains workable in excess of 3 hours at
+20°C. Workability loss is dependent on temperature, type of cement, nature of aggregate
and, method of transport. It is strongly recommended that concrete should be properly cured,
particularly in hot and dry climates.

Mixing:
CarboPlast G-2002 should be added to concrete during mixing cycle at same time as the
water and aggregates. Never add G-2002 to the dry cement. G-2002 is introduced into the
mixer together with mixing water. The plasticizing effect or water reduction is higher if the
admixture is added to the concrete after 50-70% of the mixing water has been added.

Curing:
Fresh poured concrete must be cured properly, particularly when subject to high
temperatures, in order to prevent drying shrinkages and cracks. Use Vertex Curing
Compounds to achieve best results or apply wet hessians.

Caution:
CarboPlast G-2002 is not a fire or health hazard. Spillages should be washed down
immediately with cold water. For further information refer to the material safety data sheet.
