Sports Day
It's Sports Day at school today, and we're all really excited to play different games. First, we have a
sack race, where we hop in a sack to the finish line. Sarah always wins because she's faster than
John.
Next, we played tug of war. It's a tough game, but Jane is the strongest on her team. She always
gives 110% effort.
After that, we have a relay race where we run with a baton to the finish line. The winning team gets
a trophy. It's a really competitive race, but we all try our best.
Finally, we play "Hot Potato," where we pass a ball and try not to be left holding it when the music
stops. It's always a hit with the students, and we all have a blast.
At the end of Sports Day, we're all tired but happy. We learned that having fun is important, and
that it's not just about winning. We also learned about being a good sport, which means being
gracious and sportsmanlike, win or lose.
