Sports Day 2023

Asssalamu alaikum , good morning and a warm welcome to all! Today, the sun is bright, the sky
is clear and the breeze is blowing gently. I believe we truly hit the jackpot by selecting this date
and venue to host our sports day. On this pleasant day, I, Safoora Batool, your host for the
event, warmly welcome you all to the sports day of Beacon house School System.

I feel proud and honored to welcome our most honorable principle Sir Kashif Hussain Rajper,
and Cluster Convener for the campus, Nawab Shah and Sukkur schools , Our headmistress Ms.
Shifa Farhan, Senior Mistress Ms. Salma Kanwal, Senior Mistress Ms. Shamaila Irfan, Sir.
Sufyaan , A level coordinator and of course, our wonderful audience.

I would like to especially welcome our parents, who graciously accepted our invitation despite
having a packed schedule. Thank you so much, everyone. It is an honour to have you here with
us today.

And I would congratulate and pass my praises to all the participants and teachers for showing
such enthusiasm for this big auspicious day and making this day possible.

A School sports day is a red letter day on the calendar. It is a day when students are freed from
their classrooms to jump and run around, freed from the fetters of learning. It is a day for
parents to cheer on their children.

It’s a day for red faces and perspiration where t-shirts and track pants are the order of the day.
School sports day is a day for lots of action and smiling faces.

It’s a day for victories and defeats, for successes and failures.

Beyond the obvious health and activity benefits, sports can teach us much about life. It teaches
us about teamwork and team spirit. It teaches us to work together to achieve a common goal
with trust and responsibilities.

Moreover, Sports Day is a day for celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship.

So let’s begin the Annual Sports Day with lots of enthusiasm, passion and vigor.

I would like to begin the ceremony with the name of Almighty Allah and for that I would like to
call _______________________________ for recitation and translation.

Carly Fiorina said “Leadership comes in small acts as well as bold strokes.”
With that, I would like to call our little leaders from grade 1 for the formation of Beaconhouse
college campus Qasimabad.

“A great leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” With all my
honor, I would like to call our great leaders, Sir Kashif Hussain Rajper and Ms. Shifa Farhan for
the opening ceremony of our annual sports day.

Thank you Sir Kashif and Ms. Shifa.

“The important thing in life is to have a great aim, and the determination is to attain it.”

Respected ladies and gentlemen, I would request everyone to please rise and direct your
attention straight in the respect of our National Anthem.

Thank you!

“Teamwork is a dance – engrossing to perform, exciting to watch.”

Ladies and gentlemen, with all your applauds, I would like to call Grade 2 students for the
opening dance.

Amazing! What cheerful and joyful moves were those. Simply love it!

It is said that “March on, do not tarry. To go forward is to move toward perfection. March on
and fear not the thorns, or the sharp stones on life’s path. March-past brings discipline in
life.”

With all of your applauds, I am extremely glad to introduce the four distinctive houses of our
school, namely

1. Red house
2. Yellow house
3. Blue house and
4. Green house.

A well-coordinated march past is the feast to the eyes and ears, when coupled with some
stirring marching music.

Let the march past begin!

(PT + Formation).

Hats off for such great efforts and hard work. Loved it!
Dear audience, lets hoot together to cheer up the Coastal Dance (zumba) performance by grade
