Hi Mate,

Hope you are well!

We have 7 new trucks going to Angola in Africa later in the year, and we would like IPEX to do some
extra work on these please. I will break it down below as best I can, and get Sonja to issue PO’s to
you once you provide a quote:

Extra work 3x extra sets of isolator brackets to be made by Ipex for Adam to send to Angola for trucks already on

Please see below instructions from Adam regarding how he wants the hour meters installed:

 This is how we want the HR meters wired in, so they are all the same
 Phoenix hour meter parts;
o 5m x 3mm twin
o 3 x red female blade insulated crimp terminals.
o 1 x hour meter. I use VDO 331.534 Rectangular hour meter because it's small
footprint looks better on the curved panels.
 The firewall through-panel will need to be opened to access the "Engine Running" signal.
 Wire 3157, connector 1A, pin 3. This connector is located at the top left of the through panel
next to the main red battery power input. Splice onto this wire for +24v when engine is
running.
 Earth supply for hour meter can be accessed by using one of the blade terminals on the earth
busses found in the firewall through panel. Earth wiring is white.
 The dash top crash panel will need to be removed to run the 3mm twin from the firewall
through panel to the hour meter that will be mounted in the steering column footwell panel.
 To remove the top dash assembly; the HVAC "Demist" vents need to be removed, this
unlocks the forward section of the dash panel. Then for the rear section (closest to
driver/passenger) you just push the dash assembly upward to release the Velcro tabs that
secure it.
 Mount the hour meter on RHS of steering column. Mount it in the footwell panel above the
brake and accelerator so that it is visible to someone who opens the driver's door.
 Connect to hour meter with female blade insulated crimp terminals.
 Test hour meter by running engine and watch for hour meter display ticking over slowly.
