Calibration Targets (DIC)

High-precision DIC reference measurement objects

A calibration target is a reference object used to calibrate the projection of a DIC

experiment. The selection of which calibration target to use is dependent on
the required Field-of-View (FoV) and setup (single-sided or double-sided) for the
measurement application.

Key benefits
• QR-coded targets are automatically recognized and identified using Istra4D
• An optional, certificate of target calibration can also be issued measured to DaKKs
standards
• A certificate of precision class is issued with every calibration target

Dantec Dynamics’ offers over 23 different calibration targets ranging from 1 mm to 700
mm. The following calibration targets are currently available:
