An environmental record is a written statement showing the impact of the substation's

activity on the environment, in which all information on emissions, input and output
specifications, storage records, and waste disposal records are recorded. It is the most
important document that reflects and documents the substation's interest in
environmental issues, its commitment to the environmental standards and specifications
set by the state, and its endeavor to improve its environmental performance. The
environmental record is one of the requirements of the General Presidency of Meteorology
and Environmental Protection, as its inspectors review the record during their inspection
visits. The record also represents one of the requirements of the environmental
management system ISO 14000. The environmental record also reflects the facility's
keenness on its employees, clients, and citizens residing around it.
The environmental record was prepared for the construction project of the construction
of 380/132 Kv BSP on the unified model for power stations in the Saudi Electricity
.Company
:The Objective of the Environmental Record
• Achieving the requirements of the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental

Protection.
• Documenting the environmental data of the stations and presenting them to the
inspection authorities to ensure compliance with the environmental commitment.
• Providing the necessary data to prepare a database that can be linked to the monitoring
results, which will improve environmental performance in the future.

stability at ALBAHA area of SEC Network by providing conventional or Hybrid static VAR
system compensator system at ALBAHA . The work consists of the construction of
Substation.

6.3 - Continuous Environmental Monitoring

It includes overflow or leakage of industrial and sewage, polluted water, abnormal noise,
leakage of chemicals, gases, and oils, and any other phenomena harmful to the
environment. It is carried out by the environmental representative and the safety
coordinator.
Environmental Inspection - 6.4

Environmental representatives conduct inspection tours twice a year. It includes monitoring
oil leakage, gas emissions, environmentally and health hazardous chemicals, soil pollution,
noise, and drinking water quality.
