The LinkedIn Hierarchy

What Gear
Are You In?
Let me share a story with you
about a car that's been stuck
in first gear for way too long.

This car has a name -

Your LinkedIn Profile.
You have a profile,
but are you using it to
its fullest potential?

Let's see which gear

you're currently in.
First gear
You see LinkedIn as your
online resume and don't
engage much.

You connect with people you

already know and don't
publish content.
Second gear
You've optimized your profile
and are more active.

You check LinkedIn multiple times a

week, have joined some groups, and
engage with others' content.
Third gear
You're getting serious now.

You have a good idea of your

goals on LinkedIn, enriched your
profile with valuable content,
and try to be an ambassador
for your network by engaging
with their content.

You're aiming for more

impressions or followers.
Fourth gear
You're using LinkedIn to
achieve your goals, and your
profile is built around them.

You have your own content strategy

and publish more than once a week.

You're actively networking, inviting

people you haven't met yet, and
aiming for more engagement.
Fifth gear
Congratulations, you've made it!

You have a successful LinkedIn routine

in place, know what to post and when,
and how to follow upon engagement.

You use Sales Navigator to identify

relevant people and proactively
engage with them.

You're aiming for more

conversions via LinkedIn.
Now, a word of caution -
don't get too lazy
and shift into

"Automatic"

If you start using automation

to go for the quick win and
don't care about building
relationships, you'll be out of
business in 1 to 2 years!
So, which gear
are you in?
Don't forget to shift up
and keep moving forward.
