The chair is a set of parts formed by: Patient Chair,
Auxiliary Unit, Reflector and Dental unit.
These parts are interconnected, the use of any of
them in other chairs being impossible, that is, the
chair can only be supplied with all the parts
described in the Owner’s Manual.
The Chair is upholstered with polyurethane foam
coated with PVC. Its structure is made of carbon
steel with powder painting (electrostatic). It also
has injected plastic and metal plate finishes.
The Auxiliary Unit has a removable bowl for
cleaning. It also includes a cup holder and suction
hose.
The reflector is articulated and moves easily, with
light intensity between 19,000 and 22,000 Lux.
The Dental Unit has a tray optional to support
tools, a pedal for activating hand pieces for high
and low rotation and a rotary support for hand
pieces. Comes with a water reservoir.

disposal a refined technology.
- Operating errors can cause damages to the
equipment or non-utilization of the resources it
can provide.
- For user safety, do not pour liquids on the dental
chair, thus preventing short circuit and damages
to the equipment.
- The equipment’s rotary instruments were
designed for dental treatments only, in works
requiring greater pressures and torque, like
prosthesis, we recommend specific instruments.
- The maximum admissible load on the chair is 200
kg.
- The maximum load on the dentist main tray is 1
kg.
7 - Additional procedures for
reutilization
Cleaning of Upholstered or Painted Parts
Use a cloth wet with Aplic Odonto® or a similar
product in cleaning painted/upholstered parts.
Cleaning and Preserving the Suction Filters
Clean the suction filters after surgical works or
whenever you notice reduction in suction power.
Cleaning the Sink and Sink Drain
The sink can be removed for cleaning. The drain
must be cleaned daily.
Disinfecting the Unit
Disinfecting the Suction Lines: Suction daily in
each suction hose 1 to 1.5 liters of disinfectant
solution for PVC hoses.
8 - Performance on essential

8.1 - Indication, purpose and intended
use of the product
- Chair: for accommodating the patient during the
dental treatment, allows positioning the patient
properly in each treatment stage through the
motions. The chair's motions are extremely smooth
since they are caused by low-voltage and refined
mechanical motors. The backrest's motion is very

comfortable thanks to the articulation that is
positioned in the acetabulum line;
- Auxiliary unit: for auxiliary works like water supply
for cup and collection of dejects and activation of
the cuspidor and suction hoses with reliability and
practicality for the professional and assistant;
- Dental unit: for activation and control of the
syringe, rotary instruments and others, providing
the best proximity to the work field;
- Reflector: for lighting of the work field so as to
enable visualization during the procedure, enduring
easy and comfortable access by the professional.
8.2 - Secondary or undesired side effects
and contra indications
- There are no secondary or undesired side effects.
8.3 - Product safety and efficacy
- The Dental Chair D700 model is completely safe,
provided the safety rules are followed in all the
recommendations described in this Owner´s
Manual.
- The equipment was designed and manufacturing
using standard (nontoxic) materials for
medical/dental use and that enable easy asepsis. It
is practical and designed to guarantee full safety.
- The equipment will not lose its physical or
dimensional characteristic when maintained
(stored) or preserved as mentioned in item 2 of this
Owner´s Manual.
9 - Installation or connection to
other products
The Dental Chair D700 model is not intended for
use in direct connection with other equipment.
10 - Preventive and corrective
maintenance
10.1 Preventive Maintenance and
Preservation (Owner's responsibility)
Preventive maintenance must be conducted every
year, with the aim of checking the operation of the
chair's electrical circuits, gear motor, hoses, air and
water connections, etc.
Preventive Maintenance must be conducted by
Technical Assistance only, which must be
requested as informed in the item on Corrective
Maintenance. With it, you can plan your
equipment's preventive maintenance, thus
reducing operational failure and safety risks.
For preservation, keep the equipment clean,
disinfected and stored according to item 8.

10.2 - Corrective Maintenance
When there are damages to one or more parts of the equipment, separate it and identify it with a label stating
that the part(s) is(are) “under maintenance”.

detected and cannot be corrected according to the instructions herein, contact the authorized service network to
correct the problem.

Seek the authorized Service network and always use original parts, since they are the guarantee that your product
will always be in ideal working and safety conditions.

The diagrams and lists of parts, components and other information required for Technical Assistance are found in
the CD-ROM that comes with the product.

Replacing the Reflector Lamp
1. Remove protection “1”.
2. Disconnect the lamp wires.
3. Remove the damaged lamp.
4. Place the new lamp.

13 - Cautions in Case of Product
Damage
To prevent environmental contamination or undue
use of the Dental Chair D700 model when it is
damaged, it must be disposed of (according to the
legislation in force) in an appropriate location.

The equipment is warranted for 15 (fifteen)

months counted of the date on the sale invoice
issued to the customer.

Note:
The lamp’s service life is approximately 400 hours,
being that 3% of them can burn prematurely
during this period.

11 - Cautions in case of change

in product functioning
If the equipment presents abnormal heating or any
other abnormality, check if the problem is related
to some of the items listed in item 7.2. If the
problem cannot be solved, request for authorized
technical assistance.

12 - Sensitivity to predictable
environmental conditions in
normal use situations

The Dental Chair D700 model was designed to be

insensitive to interferences like magnetic fields,
external electrical influences, electrostatic
discharges, pressure or pressure variation,
provided the equipment is installed, clean,
preserved and operated according to this directions
for use.
