My warmest greetings to the school officials, administrators, faculty

members and advisers, teachers, parents, and guardians of the graduates and
completers of School Year 2021-2022!
On behalf of the Department of Education (DepEd), I am proud to
celebrate the successes, milestones, and achievements of this batch’s graduates
and promoted students in this year’s End-of-School-Year rites with the theme
Vision “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of
Adversity.”

Committed to sustaining this momentum, the Department developed
and implemented the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Program (BE-LCP),
where we offered various learning modalities and produced award-winning
initiatives such as the DepEd TV and DepEd Commons at the height of the
pandemic. Eventually, the Department held its ground against an unprecedented
challenge in basic education as we progressively expand the reintroduction of face
-to-face classes in the country.
Indeed, education is truly a shared responsibility. This is why we express
our utmost appreciation to our dear parents and teachers for being our partners
in nurturing the youth throughout the years.
To the Class of 2022, resilience is in your blood. You have survived one
of the toughest times in human history, yet still embraced education as your
primary tool to success. I believe that with your passion and purpose, you can
reach your dreams and change the world.
May you keep on harnessing and imparting wisdom as together, we will
build a nation of competent global citizens and future leaders.

OFFICE OF THE
SCHOOLS DISTRICT SUPERVISOR
OFFICER-IN-CHARGE
JAY B. LAGASCA, EdD

I would like to congratulate all for reaching this achievement. My pro-

found gratitude goes out to the school heads, teachers at the schools, the staff,
and the parents who gave it their all to keep the educational system running de-
spite the difficulties we had over the previous two years.
You have developed greater bravery while facing a global crisis. You are
a survivor of one of the most trying times in our history. The pandemic has drasti-
cally transformed the landscape of many aspects of our lives, and we are yet una-
ware of the pandemic's longterm effects on our society.
The pandemic presented us with pressing challenges. Although you are
all likely in different situations and they may have different impacts on each of
you, I am confident that you have all learned valuable lessons that have strength-
ened you and equipped you to handle the greatest difficulties in the years to
come.
Our theme this year, Gradweyt Ng K to 12: Masigasig sa mga pangarap
at matatag sa mga pagsubok” ( K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Foster-
ing Resilience in the face of Adversity) embody the kind of learners you are.
We often encounter issues in life that may seem overwhelming. We
develop the ability to go beyond challenges that arise along the way. The ability
to overcome problems enables us to advance in life without being constrained by
the difficulties we face. And that is why overcoming challenges is essential.
Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time in swimming
said, “There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But
with hard work, there are no limits”. To fulfill our goals and desires, we must
equip ourselves with the skills and attributes required. We should aim for excel-
lence. Always strive to perform at your highest level. Be a role model for others.
Finally, remember to express the deepest appreciation for all the lessons
you have learned, the skills you have cultivated, and the experiences that have
molded who you are. Only if we keep in mind the lessons from the past will we be
able to move forward.
Congratulations and God Bless you all! To God be the Glory.
