APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF UNITS FOR SALARY CREDIT

Pursuant to the Agreement Between the La Cañada Unified School District and the La Cañada Teachers’ Association, an employee’s
immediate supervisor must recommend, and the District must approve, credit for workshops, vocational training programs, travel,
professional employee research/study and work experience, lower division undergraduate and community college courses for the purpose of
salary advancement. Please use approved form below. Units shall not exceed contract limits as defined in Article XIII. Courses taken without
prior approval will not be counted for horizontal advancement on the district salary schedule. For purposes of salary credit, units must be
verified by official transcript no later than September 15.
