2023 Memorial Day Parade Route

• Assemble at 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago (McKinley Park public library).
• Proceed east on West 35th Street to South Paulina Street.
• Proceed south on South Paulina Street to West 37th Street.
• Proceed west on West 37th Street to South Damen Avenue.
• Proceed north on South Damen Avenue to West 35th Street.
• Proceed east on West 35th Street.
• Parade concludes at the William McKinley American Legion Post 231 memorial, 1956 W. 35 th
St., Chicago.

Parade Guidelines
• Assemble at 9:30 a.m. in front of the McKinley Park public library.
• Check in with the parade coordinator at the front doors of the library to receive flags for
your group and your line-up position.
• Step-off is promptly at 10 a.m.
• Have your group march five abreast.
• For safety reasons, bicycles, roller blades, skateboards and pets are not allowed.
• If you intend to have a vehicle or float, which may be decorated, indicate this above.
• No profane language.
