In order to develop promising professional athletes in their own
countries, especially youngsters, a significant portion of the financial budget is spent on sports facilities. Countries are willing to spend millions on upgrading and maintaining sports facilities. I think it is a good way to train talented youngsters.
To begin with, providing world-class sports facilities for youngsters
promotes a better health and lifestyle. With well maintained sports facilities, youngsters will be motivated to do more sports which leads to the decrease of chances of them taking drugs or creating social issues such as vandalism.
In addition, talented youngsters that are discovered and trained at a
young age yield better results in international competitions. When youngsters train since they are young, they have more experience and exposure towards various competitions. Hence, they have a higher chance of winning international tournaments or championships.
However, the government should spend money on providing better
education to the youngsters. After all, sports cannot guarantee the youngsters for life as compared to education. For example, more money should be spent on providing scholarships for youngsters to further their study.
In conclusion, talented youngsters deserve a better chance to shine
with the proper support of the government. Hence, the government should invest in preparing world-class sports facilities for them.
