TEST 2

The chart represents the data collected from 1987 to 2007 of tourist visiting the types of attractions in a
European country. Overall, the tourists manifested increased interest in visiting the lakes and the coast
as well between 2002 and 2007, while the number of people visiting the mountains was maintained the
same.

Firstly, the number of people that visited the coast registered a slight decrease from 1987 to 1992,
followed by a major increase and reaching the peak in 2002. After this, there is a major increase in the
number of visitators. It can be seen that, annually, the figures had risen gradually, coming up to a total of
over 70 thousands of tourist that had visit the coast in 2007.

Secondly, the lakes begun to present interest to the tourists, and this can be seen in the graph, where it
is registered a slight increase from 1987 to 1997. But from that year to 2002, there had been noted a
peek in the number of visitators. Unfortunately, in 2007 it had been registered a plummeting in the
number of visitators, from more than 70 thousands in 2002 to approximately 50 thousands in 2007. The
number of people that had chosen the mountain increased a bit thought years from 20 thousands to 35
thousand approximately.

In conclusion, even if the number of visitorsvisitators had increased or decreased through the years, the
main preferable attraction in that European country remains the coast and the lakes.

In able order to achieve high results from professional athletes there must be done major investments in
special dedicated places and specialised trainers. In my opinion, this financial sacrifice made from the
local budget, where every citizen contributes with taxes, should not be in detriment of not building
sports centers that can be used by sports amateurs.

Firstly, having an elite team of athletes for a country is something they should be proud of. But this
necessitate needs a proper money contribution from the authorities. It is very expensive to provide
everything needed to be able to support those athletes. For instance, they need special equipment,
dedicated gyms, qualified personal like trainers, kineto therapist, doctors and dieticians. In my personal
view, the government should contribute with money in those cases, but not fully. Let`s take the example
that, most of the countries doesIt is common practice in some countries that, they help with a part of
the money needed, but for the rest they try to find sponsors from big companies. In return, the athletes
are doing free advertisement for the products of that company. In my opinion, this is a win -win situation
for boughtboth of the parts.

Secondly, in some other countries, where there is an improper budget management, all money are IS
given by the state. This may seem a bit unfair for the average citizen that pays his taxes and expects good
living conditions in return.Which I believe that is not got for the people that pay taxes, because there is
not enough money left for other investments, like public sports center dedicated for the community. This
is not correct for normal people. Everybody should benefit from the same resources.
Thirdly, it is known that sports have a beneficial impact on people`s health. If there is no special place for
people to do sports, there may be a problem in the people motivation to practice sports. In the long run,
people could suffer from obesity, cardiovascular illness and premature death. But if the general
population is ill, the treatment and the medical investment will cost the state a fortune. Like it is said
that is better to prevent than to treat.

To conclude, the state should help athletes to achieve their best potential giving money, but in the same
time they should find management strategy to help at the same level the community that they are
responsible for.

TEST 3

The diagram presents a comparison between how grown-ups manage their time doing daily activities in
a country in 1958 and 2008. Overall, the main activities are working, followed closely by sleeping in both
periods and the most striking difference is in the time spent with friends and family.

From the both pie graphs from 1958 and 2008, it can be observed that most of the time adults spendsis
spent at work, with a small difference in percentage from 33% in 1958 to 42% in 2008. Ffollowed-up by
sleeping, which had registered a small decrease of 7%. The time spentd doing other interestactivities or
playing sports have very few changes in percentages.

The main change is seen in the in the time spentd going out with friends or family, with a drop from 19%
to 6%. After that, the road to work necessitates a longer period of time with an increase from 2% to 8%.
But in 2008 the free time from home is a little bit longer, to an increase to 13%.

To conclude, time management was and it is essential in able to achieve everything we want in life,
because the most part of a 24 hours day we isdedicated to work and sleep.

In our days, in many parts of the world, science is an less preferable preferred topic of interest for future
students. In my opinion, science is a important subject in schools and there should be special programs
to open draw young people’s interest.

Firstly, I think that this lack of interest in science is present in countries that are poor, because the
government is not investing enough resources to make students more interested in this area. Although,
this trend can be seen in well developed countries, because there are better programs for study and
students can learn about topics more diverse like: art, music, poetry, languages.

Secondly, authorities from around the globe should invest in science programs because it is essential for
that country to form well prepared specialist. For a well developed economy, there should be presents
engineers, doctors, and all types of technicians. If those improvements are not done to the school
system there will be seen results in the near future. The state, in lack of specialists, will have to invest in
bringing them from abroad, which will have a negative impact onin the economy.
At last, science is very important in children formation. This subject is mandatory in schools, because it
have has a positive impact in de development of young children. Think about math or biology, it helps
develop the analytical thinking and how to corelate information.

To conclude, there must be done specific intervention to arouse interest in students to choouse a science
career to study in the university, for the future development of that country.
