2.The government should spend money in

promoting sport and art in school, rather than
sponsoring professional sports and art events in
communities. To what extent you agree or
disagree?
As for authorities, funding specific sports and art campaigns in communities seems
as wasting money while supporting sport and art in schools is regarded as a
bargain. But from my perspective, both investment in schools and communities in
the sectors of sport and art are worthy and should be encouraged.

Obtaining adequate fund from government, schools are capable of proceeding

development of sports and art in a deeper way. To be specific, with abundant
financial support, out-dated sports and art facilities might be replaced from time to
time and skillful and outstanding teachers might be employed. In addition,
scholarship in the field of sports and art might be set up to backup talented students
and encourage others to engage in sports and art professions as opposed to
learning subject knowledge. In this case, more and more talented athletes could
probably be discovered and cultivated in their younger age.

Like funding schools, numerous benefits can also be gained by granting fund for
communities to held competent sports campaigns and renowned art festivals. If
these events are convened in local communities, natives might be proud and prefer
to be volunteers. Then, their interest in sports and art might be triggered and
developed unconsciously. Besides, local community’s reputation could probably
increase and spread as visitor’s footprint and this local area might be famous for
specific events. For instance, Gala, a small town in France, is renowned for holding
international film festival and hundreds and thousands celebrities and their
followers would fly to Gala to take part in this fantastic event.

From my perspective, I suggest that government should grant financial support to

schools and communities to encourage them to promote sport and art rather than
highlighting only one side.
