Some people feel that public money should not be spent on cultural amenities such as museums,

theatres, and art festivals. How important do you think these things are to society as a whole? Are
there any areas which are more important for the government to fund?

In many countries, public services are developed so they consider taxes for entertainment such as
museums theatres, and art festivals while few people believe the direction of money is wrong. It
seems to me as long as the basics needed to be achieved and it is acceptable. This essay will discuss
the best area to spend government money.

Firstly in developed countries, public services such as schools and health depend on taxes so it is
free. In addition, not only reach all groups but is also well cared for. This leads to the allocate money
in different directions and results in culture. At this stage, I agree with this because when the fund
comes to culture, it is might lead to tourists and making income for the countries. For example, Paris
is known for its magnificent landscape and amazing history, and it attracts travelers to visit. Paris is
been developed country and the government fund is for museums. I believe this fund is the right
place.

In developing countries, they need to provide health and education, and this could turn into better
human resources when it comes to all groups. For example, Indonesia is still a developing country
and the biggest fund is health care, because when the human resources are qualified can increase
capital gain and this might benefit the country itself. When the citizens are in perfect health, and
body they might have proper work with good salaries. Turning to education, elder people in
Indonesia still suffer from illiteracy which makes them easy to be fooled.

To conclude, the government’s money allocated is different in each country. I believed the execution
of the state budget is the best for their own countries. However, there are different fund which is
preferable than culture fund.
