•Hi everyone!

(presentación)
In this video, we're going to talk to you about our investigation on skirts as a clothing item in
different cultures all around the world. We decided to do some research on this topic
because a conversation between the four of us a couple of months ago led us to wonder
how society regards men wearing women's clothes or vice versa, and whether garments like
the skirt have always traditionally been worn just by women or not.

•During the research process, our intention was to choose a country where men wearing
skirts is thought to be a prominent custom, travel there and gather up information and data
about the topic by directly asking questions about it to people in the country.
We chose Ireland as the country to travel to, as our group mate Carlos will be staying there
next year as an exchange student and we thought it'd be nice for him to start becoming
familiar with whatever he'll be facing as a part of his daily life.

•The first thing we needed to do in order to get to Ireland was to book a flight. We managed
to book a really cheap flight: each of us paid 184€. The flight took off at Málaga Airport and
landed in Dublin, where we would stay for the entirety of our research trip. There are many
hotels in the city and its surroundings, so if you ever want to travel there, finding a place to
sleep will be fairly easy.

•The next couple days were spent investigating the skirts men wore in Ireland. We ended up
collecting enough information to fit a slide presentation, which you can see yourself (the link
is attached down below). We discovered that these skirts we just mentioned are called kilts,
and are part of the traditional men's attire in part of Ireland, as well as in Scotland. Though
Irish men don't wear kilts on a daily basis, they can be spotted at formal events or traditional
gatherings.
We asked the Irish about their opinion on kilts and skirts in menswear, and created a survey,
which you can also see below.

•At one point in our stay in Ireland, we ended up running out of money and without any
budget left, so the four of us got temporary jobs so as to save up some money to fly back
home.
Once we had saved up enough, we flew back to Málaga, our investigation complete.
That was all for the video, thanks so much for watching!
