2. SHRI JANAKIRAMAN SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 Eligible candidates would acquire either part/ full waiver of tuition fee subject to
Chancellor Approval.
 Candidate should maintain attendance 90% and above during the application period.
 Candidates should maintain good academic records.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline.
 Backlog leads to termination of scheme.
 General terms and condition is applicable as per the cancellation policy of AMET.

3. SINGLE GIRL CHILD SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 The girl has to be the single girl child in the family; she might not have one or more brothers
or may not be a twin daughter or even a fraternal daughter of the family.
 The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 19 years
 Girl students who have passed Class 12 with at least 80% marks in PCM/overall marks.
 15% of the tuition fee is waived at the first year, based on her academic performance,
Reputation & Discipline.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline

4. FIRST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 No other family members should be a graduate
 No brother or sister (Siblings) availed the first graduate scholarship or fee concession
 The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 19 years
 Candidate who has passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks in PCM/overall marks.
 15% tuition fee is waived for the first year alone.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline
 General terms and condition is applicable as per the cancellation policy of AMET.

5. SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 Single parent meant father / mother raising child without a partner.
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 Candidate who have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks in PCM/overall marks
are eligible to avail this scheme.
 15% of Tuition fee is waived in second semester with following conditions,
a. 10% waived based on his academic performance in first semester.
b. Remaining 5% waived with his good performance and no disciplinary issue.
 The Scheme is applicable for only for first year.
 Backlog in any subject subjected to termination of scheme.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline

6. NATIONAL/STATE SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 Candidates should secure Gold/Silver/ Bronze in any of District/National/International
Sports.
 Sports not listed under ministry of youth affairs and sports are not considered.
 15% of the tuition fee is waived at first year.
 The Scheme is applicable for only for first year.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline

7. MERITORIOUS SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 Candidate who have passed Class 12 with at least 90% marks in PCM/overall marks
are eligible to avail this scheme.
 15% tuition fee waived for the first year, sustaining within top 10 ranks will continue
to yield benefit till the completion of course.
 Backlog in any subject subjected to termination of scheme.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline

8. EX-SERVICEMEN SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 The Applicant Father or Mother should serve in the Indian Navy/Army/Air Force at
least for the tenure not less than Five years.
 15% of the tuition fee is waived at first year; sanction of scholarship scheme depends on the
academic performance.
 Candidate should maintain good discipline

Eligibility Criteria:
 The applicant should be an Indian national
 The Applicant Father or Mother should be in the Fishermen community.
 15% of the tuition fee is waived at first year; continuation of scheme depends on the
academic performance from last year.

10. CANCELLATION OF SCHOLARSHIP

AMET may terminate Scholarship scheme of any candidate in case of:

 If the fellow is found to be ineligible to receive the Scheme, at any point of time during
the entire duration of the course.
 The candidate should not have any arrears during the entire course period.
 Candidate should required to maintain attendance 90% and above.
 Any false information furnished by the applicant.
 Misconduct of fellow.
 Unsatisfactory progress of academic performance of the fellow.
 Any other scholarship is drawn from other source(s) during the tenure of the course.
