What you learned: I learned that trying to have everything you want in your classroom can be
really hard depending on how many students you have in your class. I personally would like to
have a carpeted space for the students to sit and listen when I teach lessons so they could all be
together. I want my students to be in table groups so they can help each other if they need it.
Having them in groups would also hopefully encourage them to make friends. I learned that
where you put things in the classroom says a lot, I added an achievements board on the entire
back wall so that they can always see their assignments up on the wall.

ISTE (NETS) - STUDENTS addressed: I would say that the standard addressed is #4 Innovative
Designer because we are using a deliberate design process to create an idea.

Application of skills learned for the future: I think doing this with my students would be fun
because they could be creating our classroom. If I prepared objects that were already in the
classroom we could maybe agree on moving desks around and make a layout for our classroom.
It would be very fun and this could help all of the students and I bond and help them know that
the classroom is theirs too.
