Gabby’s Classroom

The way that I dreamed of my classroom being would be somewhat of like a home away from
home. I want my students to feel comfortable while they’re in class. I want the kids to be in
groups of 4 each so they can be allowed to work in groups on their assignments. I always liked
working in groups and I think it will help the kids learn. They will also have iPads at their desks
because technology is a good tool in helping kids learn nowadays. It’s a really useful tool. I also
want to include computers for those students who do not want to use IPads. I wanted to include
a picture wall right by the door to show off the kid's work on their projects which will be all about
my wall. I wanted to have a designated place to be able to show off their stuff. I will have a
reading area for any student to go and read, a plant wall where each student will have a planet
so they understand the meaning of having to take care of things. I have a birthday wall for the
student's birthday of the month. Each week a new student will be the one who leads the class in
certain activities, which will be the voting area. Each student will get the opportunity to vote who
they think should lead the class. Hope you all enjoy my little classroom!
