Hallo everyone my name is Ajeng Nirmalasari. I would like to say thank you for coming in my
presentasion , today I would like to present about hammer. For the beginning I’d like to divide this topic
into four parts. First the parts of hammer, second shape and size, third material and properties, fourth
position and connection of the parts. HOW IT WORKS OR HOW TO USE IT? I’ll try to answer any of
your question after the presentation.

First let’s talk about the hammer parts. Hammer is a tool consisting of a head and handle that it has
function to deliver an impact to small area of an object.

Now we’ll move on to second topic that is shape and size of each parts of the hammer. There are many
kind of hammer in this world for example the claw hammer, dead blow hammer, sledge hammer, hand
hammer, etc. therefor the hammer head have many kinds of shape depend on what is the function of the
hammer. For example the shape of the hand hammer is rectangular prism, the deadblow hammer and the
sledge hammer are cylindrical. Usually tge sledge and the deadblow hammer are bigger than the hammer
because the function of those hammer are for breaking stone or wall. The handle is cylindrical in shape
and longer than the hammer head.

Moving on now to third topic that is the material and properties of the hammer.
Hammer heads are made of high carbon, heat-treated steel for strength and durability.
The heat treatment helps prevent chipping or cracking caused by repeated blows
against other metal objects. The handles may be made from wood, steel, or a composite material. Steel
handles are stronger and stiffer than wood, but they also transmit more shock to the user and are subject
to rust. Composite handles may be made from fiberglass or graphite fiber-reinforced epoxy. Steel and
composite handles usually have a contoured grip made of a synthetic rubber or other elastomer. Wood
handles do not have a separate grip. Steel and composite handles may also be
encased in a high-impact polycarbonate resin. That is all I have to say about the material and properties
of hammer.

Then we moving into the last one, that is about position and connection of the
parts. The hammer head situated on the top of the hammer. The head of the hammer is
fixed to the handle. And the grip is attached to the handle.

Right, let's sum up, shall we?. let,s start with the hammer parts. There are 2 main
parts they are hammer head and handle. Then the hammer have many size
and shape depend on what is the function The hammer made of many kind of materials for example there
are wood hammer that is made from wood, steel hammer that is made from steel, and composite hammer
that is made from fiberglass or graphite fiber-reinforced epoxy. And the conection of the
hammer there are hammer head at the top, The handle fixed to it and the grip that is
attached to the handle.
I’ll conclude very briefly by saying that there are many kind of the hammer in
this world they are have different function deepend on what we needed. So that is all
from me. Any questions?
