3. Imperative Sentence: An imperative sentence gives a command or makes a request. It can end
with a period or an exclamation mark.

Example: Turn off the lights.

In this sentence, "Turn off the lights" is an imperative sentence that gives a command.

4. Exclamatory Sentence: An exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotion or emphasis. It


ends with an exclamation mark.

Example: What a beautiful day!

In this sentence, "What a beautiful day!" is an exclamatory sentence that expresses strong
emotion.
