This What's New documentation is an SAP Product Document delivered with the SAP Convergent Charging
(SAP CC) software product and its main release 2022.
This documentation and user assistance lists and highlights all the main features that are available in the
2022 FPS 1 software version: What's New in Feature Package Stack 1 [page 7].
Note
A delivery note accompanies this software version. It includes a summarized change list and a correction
list. Refer to the corresponding SAP Note 3261352 .

SAP Convergent Charging 2022 Feature 3261352 The Delivery and Information Note document contains

you of technical or security changes, delivered corrections,

Technical Implementation of SAP CC 3291324 This last-minute information is about the technical imple
2022 FPS 1 mentation of this Feature Pack Stack (FPS) of the SAP
Convergent Charging (SAP CC) 2022 software product. This
user assistance provides you with few supplementary main

The Feature Package Stack 1 for SAP Convergent Charging 2022 provides the following features and
enhancements in your SAP CC system landscapes:
Technical Features
• New RESTful/JSON APIs for chargeable item loading is available to be used when integrating our charging
solution. Refer to the SAP CC 2022 REST API Documentation for Implementation for more information.
• Support of the version 10.8 of CA APM Introscope (IS). See the SAP Note 3247270 and Upgrade of CA
APM Introscope (IS) for SAP.
• Installation/Update/Upgrade: the SAP CC installer preinstalls the version 10.8 of the Introscope Agent
when installing, updating, or upgrading an SAP CC system. Consult the SAP Note 1453216 to manage
the manual installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Introscope agents of the monitored SAP CC
systems.
As of FPS 1 for release 2022, pricing specialists can use new pricing components in the charges of a rate plan.
Summary
As of SAP CC 2022 FPS 1, the app Manage Rate Plans in the Cockpit user interface is enhanced with new
components that enable the SAP CC pricing specialists to enrich the pricing logic in their rate plans.

These enhancements allow the pricing specialist to design and configure more complex business logics for the
pricing of services or products.
Changes in Cockpit
In your app Manage Rate Plans, the list of pricing components includes new entries when configuring a pricing
tree in a charge.
In the charges of your rate plans, the pricing tree displays the new pricing components.
As an SAP CC pricing specialist, now you can enhance the business logic for your pricing models. The pricing
trees of your charges can use the following components:
As of FPS 1 for release 2022, the prorata calculation for the recurring charges of rate plans for both the first
period and for the last period of the provider contract is available.
Summary
As of SAP CC 2022 FPS 1, the app Manage Rate Plans in the Cockpit user interface is enhanced with the
prorata calculation for a recurring charge.
Benefits
The recurring charge can now be calculated for a partial period, considering both the first and the last periods
of a provider contract.
Changes in Cockpit
In your Manage Rate Plans app, the Recurring Charges section displays a new column, showing if the recurring
charge is prorated or not..
As an SAP CC pricing specialist, now you can choose if your recurring charge is prorated or not.
As of SAP CC 2022 FPS 1, the home page of Cockpit and the apps for the pricing specialist (relating to pricing
definition and pricing data structures) are enhanced to support placeholder loading based on skeleton pages
while the content is loading.
Summary
When you open a page of the apps or navigate from one page to another one, you see a placeholder based on
skeleton page while the content is loading.
You may still see busy indicators while the data within the content is loading.
Benefits
This placeholder loading feature improves the user's perceived performance of the apps.
