Amy owns a set of antique tea set and wishes to get rid of them by selling it for RM1,000. She
calls Ben on the phone and made this proposal for sale to him. In addition to that Amy also tells
Ben that if he agrees to accept this proposal, he should tell her so as soon as possible. However,
before they end the conversation, Ben tells Amy that he would rather purchase the antique tea
set at RM500. Amy refused to accept that price and after a long conversation, she hung up the
phone. After some consideration, Ben decides that RM1,000 is a reasonable price and calls
Amy a few days later to accept the initial price proposed by her. To Ben’s disappointment,

jacket, he saw an expensive-looking leather jacket with a price tag that is marked RM1. He
immediately takes the item to the cashier to purchase it for that price. Denny checks with the
other similar leather jackets and found out that only this tag was marked RM1 whilst the others
are marked RM1,000. Upon this knowledge Denny informs Carmen about the mistake and told
her that the selling price is actually RM1,000 and not RM1. However, Carmen insists on
