Comparative short adjectives: One or two syllables.

 Add ER + THAN and if it ends with Y, changes it by I and adds ER. Examples:
Short Shorter than… más corto que…
Happy Happier than… más feliz que…
Busy Busier than… más ocupado que…

 The adjectives that have a vowel between the two consonants in the last syllable
double the last consonant. Examples:
Thin Thinner than… más delgado que…
Wet Wetter than… más húmedo / mojado que…

 These form their superlative with THE before the adjective and adding EST at the
end. Examples:

Slow The slowest el más lento

Cheap The cheapest el más barato
