INTRODUCTION

1. DUONG DONG SAI GON JOINT-STOCK COMPANY is the entity responsible for the
operation of managed vessels and as such is the holder of the Document of Compliance
(DOC).
2. The Director of DUONG DONG SAI GON JOINT-STOCK COMPANY has overall
authority in all matters related to the Company’s Safety and Labour Management System.
3. DUONG DONG SAI GON JOINT-STOCK COMPANY manages and operates product
tankers.

4. The Company’s Safety and Labour Management System described in this manual is based on
the IMO’s International Safety Management Code, the ILO’s Maritime Labour Convention
and has been revised by the Company which has effect from 1st October, 2014.
5. The system is applicable to the tanker vessel’s operation, management and related activities
of the Company. These include the office departments as applicable and each tanker vessel
of 500 gross tonnages and above only.
6. Adherence to the policies and practices described herein and also all referenced procedures,
instructions, standards, rules, regulations and other applicable documents, are binding upon
all Company employees.
