Book review
Project jackpot

Mahmud, S. (2016) is our choice. Project Jackpot. Protik Prokashoni Sangstha and
Aushomapto can be found at Mojiboini Books in Dhaka. Choosing the book for many
reasons The true tale of the most successful guerrilla operation is revealed in Operation
Jackpot, along with information on how risky the operation was and how the naval
sector carried it out during Bangladesh's independence
Additionally, the Bengali statesman and politician who founded the People's Republic
of Bangladesh is mentioned in the book Aushomapto Atmojiboini. He was the Awami
League's leader and the country of Bangladesh's first president and prime minister. He
goes by Sheikh Mujib most of the time. We decided to watch Jibon Theke Neya and
Hangor Nodi Grenade (both from 1997. Learn the names of the brave men and women
who sacrificed their lives to protect our independence. While Jibon theke neya, a movie
based on the events leading up to the popular revolt of 1969, was produced prior to
the battle, it nonetheless captures the essence of freedom. In this movie, the national
anthem of Bangladesh, "Amar Shonar Bangla Ami Tomay Bhalobashi," was played for
the first time. In addition to being chosen as the National Anthem, the song was
successful in fostering a sense of Bengali nationalism among the general public
Movie review
Stop genocide

The reason for me to choose this documentary is because it is from one of the renowned
filmmaker in Bangladesh Zahir Raihan from 1971.
This film is different as it brings up the patriotic side of ourselves . The movie reminds us of our
freedom fighters who didn't even think twice to die for the country , it also reminds us the torture
we had to go through and the lives we had to lose.
By watching the film we can get a deeper knowledge of the sacrifice and struggles during the
liberation war in 1971. Stop Genocide serves as a reminder of the importance of peace, justice,
and human rights. By watching it, we pay tribute to the millions of people who lost their lives, for
independence and with a hope for a better future for the country. This film acts as a source of
inspiration for the people of Bangladesh, and it shows the strength of individuals and communities
during challenging times, reminding viewers of this film the importance of unity and
determination. Lastly this film helps us connect with our country’s history, culture, and heritage.
Acts as a sense of pride and understanding that has shaped Bangladesh today.
