(a) Most nouns form their plurals by simply adding s, for example:
(b) Nouns that end in ch, sh, s, z or x add es to form their plurals,

(c) When a word has more than one syllable and the accent
falls in the last syllable, double the first consonant when
adding a suffix, for example:

But if the suffix begins with a vowel we drop the final e, for
