What I learnt in Digital Skills and

Technology
• During my first 5 weeks at SOAS, the digital skills and technology module has taught me how to
code via html and the importance of it
• In week 2, I had learnt how the browser locates the web page

HTML is important because coding has been used to create the digital world
but also the modern financial systems and has brought people closer together
which has resulted in globalisation
I had learnt how the browser locates a web page by the millions of addresses on a
server. This is a significant element of the internet as it would cease to exist without it
