1. Differentiate Trend from Fad or how is Trend different from Fad.

- A Trend is something that causes change and use in the society. Considering
that is a trend meaning that it is to last long and change overtime. As for Fad it is
something that gets rise for a short period of time or temporary only. Trend can
highly affect our societal and economic status as it is considered useful and is
supported by many. Fad on the other only gets raised for a short period of time
because of its impact and interest it puts to people when it is released but soon goes
down after it gets less and less use.

In order to spot a trend we must apply the method 4s which stands up for set up/scanning,

discovering the whole trend. Surveying, gathering data about the whole trend.

Scenarios, which is the part where we express or test our ideas about the trend and apply
changes if necessary. And Scrutiny, the last of the 4s wherein we examine our own ideas or
the product of our idea about the trend.

1. Why do you think Pokémon Go takes the
world by a storm?
- Pokémon Go took the World by a storm as
it suddenly became famous among mobile
users. Considering that the game Pokémon
Go had already grown its own popularity
way back in 1995. The game was then
made into an animated movie and was
exposed in various television shows, toys,
and comics. And when the new mobile
game style app of Pokémon Go was
released, it piqued the interest of many
people because of its virtual reality gaming
style.
2. What happens with the players of
Pokémon Go?
- As Pokémon Go players were increasing
day by day, the impact and the reviews of
the game suddenly went down to negative.
It was when there were reported accidents
due to playing this game. Pokémon Go is a
virtual reality game thus, it relates to the
real and physical environment wherein
players were carelessly walking and
pointing their phones around, focusing at it
hoping to catch a Pokémon without being
mindful of where they are going or walking
causing them to not notice that they are
already bound in danger.

- The 4s trendspotting model gives you the idea on how to start your trend
spotting in a way that you won’t jump into conclusions. Instead we follow the 4s
trendspotting model wherein the first thing that we need to do is setting up and
discovering the trend. As we move forward we will get to the part where we

which gives me a better understanding in what I am trying to figure out about
