4 If you are the teacher, what possible learning principle(s) and strategy(ies) would you apply to elicit meaningful
learning?
If I were the teacher, the possible learning principle/s or strategy/ies that I would apply to
elicit meaningful learning are first, we need to remember is to make our classroom discussion,
active and collaborative. These should have an equal effort between the teacher and the student
in order to make the learning meaningful. Second, by providing activities that considers the
individual differences of the learners. Lastly, strategies that can increase the motivation of the
learners by making clear objectives.

1. Among the principles of learning, which one is the most important for you? Substantiate your answer.
In our own perspective of all the above-mentioned principles of learning, the
“effective learning begins with the setting of clear and high expectation of the learning
outcomes” we believe is the most important because having a clear objectives and
learning outcomes helps the teacher to have a clear path in discussion. It gives the
teacher and the learners a common understanding about the purpose and goal of a
certain topic or subject. In addition, learning outcomes helps you assess yourself
whether you did a great job delivering and explaining the topic, it also helps you in
assessing your students whether they understood the topic clearly or not.

2. What insight did you learn from the class activities that you have observed?
Based on what we’ve observed, watching and listening to the learners with
curiosity and wonder lets you learn more about them, their interest in the activity, who
they are, what puts a smile on their faces, what they can do and can do. In addition, the
teacher did a great job in delivering the discussion by enthusiasm, activity and class
participation. The class participation made the discussion more interesting and
engaging. Hence, it is not just a one way of sending the message, but it is a cycle
where there is an interaction between the teacher and the learners. Observation in this
way makes teaching more rewarding for the teacher.
