Known
issues  Shapefiles and geotiff files which don’t contain information about
projection can’t be loaded in GRED HD.
 DXF format doesn’t provide info about projection; user is expected to
enter it to import in GRED HD.
 GRED HD can import only linear and planar geometries from DXF and
SHP files, solids won’t be loaded.
 GRED HD can’t import labels from DXF files.
 GRED HD can’t display object’s colour since any standard format has
been defined for this attribute.
 On targets exported by One Vision and Ouverture altitude is not
computed. GRED HD, importing such targets, calculates the altitude
of each point of each target (if altitude data are available); this could
be time consuming.
 Position of imported targets isn’t modified by any application of the
Geographical Reference Module like for any other targets.
 Each time DataExport.dat file is imported in GRED HD, all the
contained targets are added to the current target list of the project.
 On B-scan viewer, on map depth is calculated assuming radar
monostatic equation, on cursor depth is shown taking into account
radar bistatic factor.
 Renaming dataset folder using non-ASCII characters prevent the
access to GRED HD.
 Running Advanced Processing on renamed survey folder containing
processed data, could cause crash fail.
 If any of the numerical settings of Geographical Reference Module is
left blank, an error could occur.
 If the software is running, to run the uninstaller could lead to a not
complete removal of the software element.
 In Hi Mod project, when a swath is selected with double click on the
cut1 the current selected swath could be sometimes not correct and
simply aligned to the one shown in the cut2.
 The first time “insert layer” function is used, the mode is “Manual” and
the toggle wrongly presents “Manual”, so if pressed the mode remains

“Manual”.
 “Edit layer” function is not available for usernamed layers.
 Geographical Reference Module interface can’t load non-ASCII
languages (e.g. Japanese).
 Degree symbol is not represented on goniometer
 If settings are loaded, opening project explorer and changing swath
selection reset colour settings to default.
 With high resolution and big character, some windows could be not
correctly displayed.
 Pressing cancel on “Save slice”, disable the capabilities of scrolling
down cut1; close and reopen 3DViewer
 “Export slice” works only for T or L swath typology, not for both
simultaneously
 Seldom minor bad behavior of 3DViewer when windows are
maximized/minimized.
 When unit measurement for distance is “km”, save slice command
doesn’t work correctly. Set unit in “m”.
 On 3dViewer window, if cut2 is maximized, then cut 1 is closed and
then reopen is not possible to change boundary of cut 2. Unpin cut2
and pin again for reset.
 On 3dViewer window, wrong “save slice” activation if windows is
closed after a deactivation of “save slice”
 After Planar view deactivation, seldom dataset from cut1 disappears;
pick a point on cut 2 or cut3 for reset the correct working.
 Using GPS, if a swath is collected stopping while moving backward,
GRED HD takes into account the last part of the trajectory while
moving backward
 On B-scan, scrolling fast with mouse wheel on Horizontal zoom could
cause B-scan freeze.
 Bridge Module: when “deterioration evaluation” is run, if asphalt is
present always check “Asphalt base detection”, otherwise Asphalt
layer won’t be displayed later.
