Game Nite 2022 Info-Sheet

Sign-Up Deadline: Sunday, December 4, 2022
It’s Time for Game Nite! Game Nite is 4 awesome hours of new and classic NRY games. This year’s theme is
“re-animation”. If you would like, come dressed up as one of your favorite animated characters (Please just
make sure the costumes are modest & appropriate) There will be an amazon gift card awarded to the person with
the best costume. Feel free to invite a friend or two. :) Also, don’t wait to sign-up for this one. Spaces are limited
and once we reach max capacity we will have to close sign-ups.

Sign Ups open Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Here’s how it works…

1. Go to www.northridgeyouth.org/gamenite to register for the Game Nite.
2. Bring your signed Permission Form (pg. 2 of this document) with you when you come on Friday, Dec. 10th.

Schedule
The plan is to meet at North Ridge Church (7601 Falls of Neuse Rd Raleigh 27615) at 8:00pm. We will meet @ the
NRC Sanctuary Lobby & then you will be directed from there to enter the NRC Mission Center. After everyone is
checked in we will enjoy a bunch of classic & new team games together until 12am (@ 10pm we will have a snack
break, snack will be provided, but u can bring extra if u want) Parents please pick up your students @ the NRC Gym
@ 12am.

What to Wear/Bring
First thing you want to bring is yourself, but also you will want to…
● Wear Comfortable shoes & clothes as we will have some active games
(you are welcome to wear your costume all night but you are also welcome to remove parts of the costume/ bring a
change of clothes for games, as long as you remain modestly dressed throughout the night. Some games involve
running & if your costume doesn’t include athletic shoes, you will need to bring some as those are the only shoes
allowed on the gym floor)

● Bring or wear a jacket, winter hat, warm socks, pants, etc for our outdoor Capture the Flag game.
● Bring a snack to share with everyone.

Permission Form must be completed & returned on the day of this event to attend.
This document is effective for the duration of all travel and activity including but not limited to the above named event with
North Ridge Church of Raleigh, NC on the dates specified above. The full authority and effectiveness of this document will
also extend until the completion of return travel to Raleigh, NC, even if that is after the specified return date, or until it is
revoked, whichever occurs first.

I realize that my participation in the above named event (hereinafter referred to as “The Event”) is voluntary, and that my
participation in all other activities with North Ridge Church throughout The Event is also voluntary. Understanding this, I (on
behalf of myself, my family, and any others who might make a claim on my behalf) expressly assume any and all risks of
property damage, injury, and/or death arising from my participation in The Event. I knowingly and voluntarily release North
Ridge Church and along with its Governing Board, and its officers, employees, members, volunteers, and agents (collectively,
the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, losses, damages, and liabilities (whether known or unknown, foreseen or
unforeseen) related to my participation in The Event.

I further agree to indemnify and defend the Released Parties from any and all claims, losses, damages, and liabilities related
to any and all property damage, personal injury and/or death arising from my participation in The Event, as may be asserted
by a third party (defined as any party other than the Released Parties or me). In case I am in need of medical or surgical
treatment to protect my health and welfare while participating in The Event, I authorize and agree to allow any authorized
agent or employee of North Ridge Church to consent and to authorize the administering of such necessary medical and/or
surgical treatment.

Finally, I confirm that the participant is not sick, doesnʼt have a fever & hasnʼt had COVID in the past 10 days. If the
participant has been exposed to someone with COVID within the past 10 days, I will contact Dustin Miller to see if the
participant can still attend The Event.

I hereby agree to be bound by the terms of the above Release, Hold Harmless, and Authorization of Medical Care. I will abide
by the instructions of North Ridge Youth Staff without complaining or arguing (Philippians 2:14). I will be respectful to the
Shepherds as both friends and authorities, and be respectful towards all other students as well. I understand that under no
circumstances am I permitted to leave the group without the direct permission and supervision of a NRC Youth Staff member.
