REFLECTION ON THE ACTIVITY

I recognized him as a witty speaker right away as he started speaking, and I wasn't mistaken in thinking
that. As a result, he immediately captured the attention of his audience, just as he did with me. His
decision to choose teaching over other courses came after he first considered what his goal was. That is
when he began to discuss his motivation for choosing to become a teacher and give reasons for his
decision. He thought back to his first year of teaching, where he met his student and was inspired to talk
about his career as a teacher and his purpose, he found out that his student is a non-reader. In order for
the student to value his studies even more, he shares his experience with him in this instance. Even
though it's sad, he encouraged his non-reader student to put in extra effort in his studies and helped him
see the value of education as a result. This made me think that, as a teacher, I will probably someday
encounter students who are non-readers like him. And if he has done his part to inspire students to study,
I will follow behind by doing what is necessary for me to do in my role as a teacher to keep hope alive for
students who are just like him.
