A levels: GCE, SOR
+2: Results
Everyone: Character certificate, Migration certificate, SEE certificate, SEE results, Transcript. (Take
whatever educational documents you may need), Citizenship, Passport, I-20
Go to Sanothimi, MOE office, ask around for notary services.
Go to Sanothimi, MOE office, take the Equivalence certificate if A levels (Notarize equivalence letter as
well)
Make sure to photocopy, print notarized docs
Print the offer letter
Upload the stuffs reqd on MOE portal
Pay fees thru E-sewa
Print the reciept of payment, and go to Kaiser library
Get your NOC (two copies)

VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

Fill up the DS-160

Passport, valid upto 6 months of application


I-20 form
Citizenship
Do not need to pay SEVIS fee!
3 to 4 hours
Last section: Y/N section
PP sized photo, differnelty/specific sized

Registter for VISA portal site

Navigate thru the site, go to appointments page, they give you a unique ID number, print that, go to
NIBL, Kumaripati Durbarmarg, with the reciept, pay the MRV fee (~ $200)
You have to fill up Ds-160 b4 this
Within 2/3 hrs, you can see the available appointments
Be proactive!
USVNS Fb group,
appointment should be at least 120 days before departure

SEVIS fee

~350 USD, you should have filled up DS-160


Pay this at leasst a week before appointment date

Prepare beforehand

Go through transcripts of CAN, USVNS
