Fungi, Bacteria and Virus

1. Fungi
Fungi cannot make their own food.
They reproduce through spores.
Fungi grow well in mild, moist regions.

Yeasts are important to make bread rise and brew

beer.
Some fungi are used to make antibiotics to kill
bacteria, e.g. Penicillin.

2. Bacteria
Bacteria are tiny, single-celled organisms.
The bacteria that make us sick are called pathogens.
Some good bacteria help digest and breakdown our
food, and keep harmful bacteria from moving in.
Some bacteria are used when making foods like
yogurt, cheese, pickles and soy sauce.

3. Virus
Viruses are even smaller than bacteria.
Viruses aren't even a full cell.
