Introduction
This chapter is based upon the depleting condition of the planet ‘Earth’ due to the
activities of mankind . For decades we have used the resources of this planet for our
own development and ignoring the ill effects of these actions on the planet . This
chapter throws light on this and educates us on the same .

metabolism and vital needs which humans should
respect and preserve.
