ABOUT CONEBI TOURISM INDUSTRY


The Confederaton of the European Bicycle Industry CONEBI is the result of the
merger between COLIPED (the Associaton of the European Two-Wheeler Parts’
and Accessories’ Industry) – established in 1960 – and COLIBI (the Associaton of
the European Bicycle and e-Bike Industry) – established in 1973.

CONEBI is composed of 14 associatons representng the Bicycle Industry at naton- MANUFACTURING SHARING SCHEMES
al level and advocatng for the growth of the bicycle, EPAC and P&A industries as
well as of the Cycling Culture in Europe.

Electric Power Assisted Cycles - EPACs - have been invented in the EU and are growing at

1,357 million Electric Power Assisted Cycles sold in the EU Market: almost 220.000 units
more than in 2014. The EU Bicycle Industry is not only one of the most innovatve in the world, but also one of
the largest employers among the EU Green Industries: it is absolutely in line with the
Europe 2020 strategy for a Sustainable, Smart and Inclusive Growth.
