Name of Presenter: Lorelie C. Alcantara


Position/Designation: Teacher III
TOPIC: Speed Math
OBJECTIVE: Capacitate teachers with alternative teaching strategies in Math
SUMMARY OF THE TOPIC:
Math teaching strategies are important to students, teaching them to solve
mathematical sentence/ problems in great speed is amazing. By means of the
techniques and strategies they can solve the mathematical sentence in easy
way, in short method and a great time.
REFLECTION:
As discussed by Mrs. Alcantara I learned to understand the techniques in
solving mathematics in easy way with shortest speed and by using the short
method.
OBSERVATION NOTES TO THE PRESENTOR:
Mrs Alcantara presented well her discussion, she has a well-modulated
voice, and she mastered her topic, though sometimes she explained it very fast
but it doesn’t affect the discussion.
Next Course of Action:
For the coming next Quarter, I will apply this learning for me to help my
pupils in mastering the skills in speed math.

Name of Presenter: Johnny A. Padua


Position/Designation:Master Teacher II
TOPIC: Talent Identification for Possible Athlete
OBJECTIVE: To be able to capacitate teachers on identifying possible athletes.
SUMMARY OF THE TOPIC:
Identifying possible athletes in sports competitions are very important to
teachers. By means of the skills one must choose great athlete that will
represent the school for winning the sports competition.
REFLECTION:
As discussed by Mr. Padua I learned to understand the strategies in
identifying possible athletes for the right sports, pupils may join.
OBSERVATION NOTES TO THE PRESENTOR:
Mr. Padua presented well his discussion, he has a well-modulated voice,
and he mastered his topic, though sometimes he explained it verbally, but it
doesn’t affect the presentation.
Next Course of Action:
I will apply this learning to help me choose possible athletes in the sports
competition for the next quarter and in the future.

Name of Presenter: Joy Ann R. Sablay


Position/Designation: Master Teacher I
TOPIC: To refresh all the teachers in preparation of RPMS
OBJECTIVE: Revisiting Guidelines in RPMS
SUMMARY OF THE TOPIC:
RPMS was designed with the intent of improving teacher quality. It aims to
align performance targets and accomplishments with the PPST. Teachers are
provided with Key result Areas (KRA ‘s) which are the general outputs or
outcomes that are expected to teachers.
REFLECTION:
As discussed by Ms. Sablay I was refreshed, well informed and I revisited
the guidelines on the preparation of RPMS .
OBSERVATION NOTES TO THE PRESENTOR:
Ms. Sablay presented well her discussion, she has a well-modulated voice,
and she mastered her topic she also informed as very well on how to prepare
our RPMS tool and its corresponding MOV’s.
Next Course of Action:
For the coming next Quarter, I will apply this learning in preparing my
RPMS with its corresponding MOV’s.

Position/Designation: Master Teacher I
TOPIC: Conceptualizing and Writing an Action Research
OBJECTIVE:
SUMMARY OF THE TOPIC:
Action research is a process of improving educational practice. Its methods
involve actions, evaluation, and reflection. It is a process to gather evidence to
implement change in practices. Action research is participative and
collaborative. It is taken by individuals with a common purpose.
REFLECTION:
As discussed by Ms. Idos I enhanced my skills and knowledge in writing an
action research. Knowing what to do first in writing a proposal, conducting the
research and up to the final output of the action research.
OBSERVATION NOTES TO THE PRESENTOR:
Ms . Idos discussed the process of conducting an action research very
well, she presented the step by step procedure . She mastered her topic as well.
Next Course of Action:
I will apply this learning by helping my co-teachers in writing and conducting
an action research in the future.

There were 39 parents/guardians who attended the 1st Homeroom PTA meeting of Grade 4 – Jose
Rizal.

There were 5 parents/guardians who did not attend the 1st Homeroom PTA meeting of Grade 4 – Jose
Rizal

C. CALL TO ORDER
The 1st Homeroom PTA meeting of Grade 4 – Jose Rizal for S.Y. 2022-2023 was held on
Saturday,November 26, 2022 at Grade 4 – Jose Rizal’s classroom (Grade 4 building, 1 st floor, 3rd room). It
started at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon.

AGENDA
Agenda Item #1: DO. 8. S.2015 Classroom Assessment | Grading System
Discussion: It is mentioned here that the teachers should track and measure learners’ progress and to adjust
instruction accordingly. Classroom assessment informs the learners, as well as their parents and guardians, of their
progress. Included here are the details as to how the teachers will determine and evaluate the student’s progress.

Agenda Item #2: Update on the Result of 1st Quarter Test .


Discussion: The result of the 1st Quarter Test had been presented and it is clearly shown that there are few
students who got low scores on major subjects. At least 85% of the class passed the 75% criterion.

Agenda Item #3: Non-Readers and Readers below Grade level


Discussion: There are no identified non-readers from the class and below grade level.

Agenda Item #4: Reading Intervention


Discussion: In accordance with the mandate of DepEd Rizal on reading and in celebration of National
Reading Month , every 10’ o clock in the morning children are to read any stories whether from their
modules, reading books in every classroom or grade level reading corner. This improves the students’
reading skills.

Agenda Item #5: Numeracy Assessment


Discussion: According to the result of the DD Cards, Numeracy Assessment of Grade 4 Jose Rizal there
are 2 Students in Addition , 8 in Subtraction , 3 Multiplication and 3 in Division who are identified as Non-
numerates (students who got scores below 49). Intervention for the said result and report had been shared
to the concerned parents of those students.

Agenda Item #6: Learner Information System Update & Basic School Records , Correction of Entries
Discussion: Students who are not yet in the Learner Information System shall comply to the basic
requirements needed for the correction of their entry (name ) or other basic information of the learner.

Agenda Item #7: DepEd Order 48 s. 2022 Health & Safety Protocols In Light of COVID 19 Pandemic
Discussion: According to DO 48 facemasks are now voluntary , “Voluntary Wearing of Facemasks in Indoor
and Outdoor Spaces are now allowed except for some reasons / factors. But it has come to a decision for

the whole class to still wear facemasks all the time for the safety of the children.

Agenda Item #8: Update on Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease


Discussion: Hand , Foot and Mouth disease is now considered highly contagious, its is advised to closely
monitor any person inside the school (teaching or non-teaching and student). Any symptoms to be shown
by the person shall be reported to the school nurse and be forwarded to the municipal health center to be
checked and monitor for at least a week until they completely recovered.

Agenda Item #9: School Calendar of Activities


Discussion: All activities for the whole school year had been mentioned specially the nearing Christmas
break and resume of the 2nd Quarter.

Agenda Item #10: Institutionalizing of Homeroom Guidance


Discussion: Homeroom guidance is not a part of their academic – grades but will show their psycho-social
progress through discipline and behavioral activities anchored with the modules.

Agenda Item #11: Class Program


Discussion: Schedule and teachers of each subjects where mentioned.
