Methodology

This chapter explains various methodologies that were used in gathering data and analysis which are
relevant to the research. It provides outlines and steps that the researcher would take to conduct
qualitative research study on the study habits in relation with their academic performance of senior high
school learners. First, the researcher would design the study as a qualitative case study, which involves an
in-depth exploration of specific phenomenon within a particular context. Next, the researcher would
select participants for the study through purposive sampling. To collect data, the informed consent from
participants, ensuring confidentiality, and protecting the privacy of participant’s researcher would use an
open indeed question and interviews. The interviews would be conducted with the participants, either in-
person or video call. While, the question was answered by all senior high department. Once the data has
been collected the researcher would also need to consider ethical considerations, such as obtaining
informed consent from participants, ensuring confidentiality, and protecting the privacy of participants.
