(Brief description of the incident)

Dear GCash,

I am writing to formally request your assistance in recovering the amount of Php11,000.00,

which I mistakenly sent to the GCash Account Number 09914086824. The aforementioned
account belongs to the hacker who compromised the Facebook account of my cousin, Joseph
Collera. The funds were come from my GCash Account Number 09055492476.

The incident occurred on April 8, 2023, at approximately 9:06 pm. At that time, I received a
message from my cousin Joseph Collera through his compromised Facebook account,
requesting the aforementioned amount for what he claimed to be an emergency situation.
Acting in good faith and trusting the authenticity of the request, I promptly sent the sum to the
provided GCash Account Number. Subsequently, I contacted Joseph Collera to confirm the
receipt of the funds. However, he informed me that he did not send the message nor did he
require Php11,000.00. It was only after he attempted to access his Facebook account that we
discovered the unfortunate truth—that his account had been hacked and the GCash Account
Number in question did not belong to him.

Given these circumstances, I kindly request your intervention and support in recovering the
funds that were wrongfully transferred to the unauthorized account. I understand that this
situation involves a breach of security and fraudulent activity, and I believe it is imperative to
address it promptly and effectively.
