Sub: Anna University - 43rd Annual Convocation - Notification - Reg.

The 43rd Annual Convocation of Anna University is scheduled to be held in
3rd week of August 2023. Research scholars who successfully complete the Viva-Voce
Examination on or before 10.08.2023 shall only be considered for the award of the
degrees in this Convocation. Viva notification letter needs to be generated only through
online portal available in Supervisor login at Centre for Research website. Offline
notification will not be accepted at the office of Centre for Research website.
The Research scholars who successfully complete the Viva Voce Examination on
or before 10.08.2023 should fulfill the following norms:
1. Original Proceedings of the Viva-Voce examination (Available under supervisor login
in the CFR website) without any correction duly signed by all the members of the
Oral Examination Board, the corrected final thesis and other relevant documents
should be submitted to this office on or before 12.08.2023.
2. Title of the thesis in the Viva-Voce proceedings and cover page of the final version of
the thesis should be the same.
3. Month and year in the cover page of the final version of the thesis shall be the month
and year of Viva-Voce Examination held.

Note: For the purpose of the 43rd Annual convocation, the minimum period of 21 days
from the date of notification to conduct the viva-voce examination has been reduced to
a minimum of 7 days. However, after 10.08.2023, the standard norm of 21 days will be
applicable by default.
