Guitar Syllabus

Mr. Nacor
Hello! I’m Mr. Nacor. I have been the music director at Riverside Middle Academy for 6 years. I
am so glad to have you in my class this year. Whether you are just beginning your music
journey, or continuing it, welcome! Here is some information you need:

Supply List:
-1” binder
-30 sheet protectors
-Book- First Year Guitar H.O.T. Hands On Training Fifth edition
-Pencil (keep in music binder)
-Notebook paper (for written assignments)

Concert Attire/Music T-Shirt:

-There will be fittings for formal concert attire within the first 3 weeks of school. They will be
purchased through the music department.
-Orders for Music T-Shirt will be sent out during the first week of school.

Instruments:
Rentals: There is an option for everyone.

School Rental-$50 one-time charge for the year (you must supply all accessories and books)
Ritz Music: They are open from 9-7 every Monday-Saturday. You can fill out a rental form in-
person or online.

Guitar- needs to be a 6- string acoustic guitar 

ID Tag on Case for Instrument that Includes Name and Number on Case 
Clip On Instrument Tuner 

Other:
Concert dates (tentative) are December 6 and May 9 at 6:30 in the Bloxburg Opera House.
