A sports-centric start-up based in Mumbai, Sportobuddy celebrates the power of sport through an offering of events, content and
software. We are a community of innovators driven by a pledge to create a platform that fuels passion for sports while providing
cutting-edge solutions.
Since its founding in 2016, Sportobuddy organizes tournaments for non-professional (amateur) leagues through a Player Subscription
Model, targeting players from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about sports.
The success of IPL has led to the rise of several leagues in India, an encouraging trend for the future of sports in the country. We give
the experience of a professional league to the amateurs.

Co-owns Greatwhite Global Group & heads its Realty arm, Sportobuddy, Anchor Paints, and the writing Instruments division. His involvement in sports started
with the Kochi Tuskers IPL team. Since then he has been an active proponent of amateur leagues and sports via Sportobuddy.

RAHUL MEHTA
CSO
Rahul has over 20 years experience with spawning business strategies.
His key expertise lies in decoding and deducing business and markets movements. The CSO at Sportobuddy, intends to make a difference and
wants to position the brand as a game changer in sports scoring.

Ajit Gopalakrishnan
Business Head Sports Academies & Events
Ajit is an outdoors person who breathes Sports! He was a part of the Mumbai Ranji Cricket team probables in the year 2001-02. He has been an official umpire for the
Mumbai Cricket Association since 2008 till date, having officiated in more than 560 matches at various club levels and Times Shield tournaments. He has also been
included in the BCCI umpires panel for domestic matches after passing the BCCI level One examination in August ‘2011. He is also a KITES Level 2 Cricket Coach
(NSDC Approved) with a coaching experience of more than 8 years in coaching Elite level Cricketers at the under 16, under 19, and under 23 State levels.

VISHAL SHAH
BD Manager & Ops

Vishal Shah comes on-board with over 20 years of Sales & Business Development experience in India, UAE & Singapore.
He plays a key role in Business Development and Marketing activities, along with growing the SaaS model of the Scoring App and online
platforms. He also heads the on-ground Ops team for all sporting events.
