COMPLAINT AGAINST THEFT IN AUTHORISED DEALERSHIP OF TOYOTA

SUB:- To complaint regarding fraudulent and theft activity by one of your service
dealer- regards
I have given my Innova Crysta 2.4 V(MT) model car bearing Registration Number
TN 49 CK 6666 for service to one of your authorised service dealer Anaamalais
Thanjavur on 10' March 2023. The car was delivered to me on 24th March 2023 and the
very next day the bill was generated and given to me. After very few days of
delivery it was noticed by me that the power window master switch (Assembly) and
Mirror auto folding switch were changed and replaced with some other basic Innova
cars.
Auto folding motor from both the side mirrors were also removed and only basic
mirror was there. As a genuine customer I enquired about this to Annamalais
Thanjavur Service dealer. The service center confessed about their act and it was
also admitted that the switches and motor were replaced and fixed to some other
car. They concealed all the truth till I enquired. They negligently replied after
my due enquiry and also they will ready to replace the switches if we will again
send our car to their service center.
From the above incident as a genuine customer, I have following grievances: -

1.As a customer I relied on the honesty of your service center and handed over my
carbut they dishonestly replaced with some other basic cars parts.

2.Secondly till my enquiry the truth was not disclosed and that indicates their
fraudulent act and concealment of the theft.

3.Thirdly they admitted their fraudulent and theft act simply after my due inquiry
which reflects their regular practice and dishonest cheating of various customers
like me.

4. Finally, As a diligent one I found out the replacement, If I am not? So,


technical illiteracy and unawareness of the customers may be the strength of the
fraudulent and
dishonest customer service centers.

The reason we choose Toyota is for your reliability and trust but after this
incident I'm much disappointed. Apart from this car my family have 2 Glanzas and
another Innova. I myself have recommended Toyota to all my friends and they too
bought Toyota cars only for the trust and the service you provide. Now all those
trust is broken.

So, I kindly request your goodself to take proper action against this service
dealer Annamalais Thanjavur and the workmen who involved in this dishonest,
fraudulent and theft act. And also it is requested to replace the changed parts
with original parts and necessary compensation should be provided for my financial
loss, physical and mental stress incurred otherwise appropriate civil and criminal
cases will be filed with all the proofs and evidences collected.
