is a business owner as well as my mom is a housewife. In my spare time, I usually prefer reading
books, my favourite genre is fiction. And these days, i’m into reading comics b/c they hep me
feel relax and entertained. I often read books about 1 hour a day (in my leisure time).
Moreover, I’ve been interested in reading books since i was eight.

Topic
* Topic 5: Science and technology
-To be honest, I’ve been using smartphone for a long time since I was about 9 years old. It’s the time when the
newest smartphones were released. Then, I’ve used smartphones uptil now. I usually use smartphone for abt 6-10
hours per day for the reason that I am hooked on chatting with my friends, surfing the Internet and using social
medias. I honestly believe that I can’t live for a second without my phone, as u know i’m addicted to mobile
phones. I will so bored and annoyed if I leave my phone for only about 5 minutes. However, sometimes I feel so
tired and I just put my phone down, go outside, enjoy the fresh air, that makes me feel fresher.

-“Currently, almost everyone have been so busy for their works so most of them don’t have
enough time to do house chores and so do I. Therefore, I would like to have my own robot in
the future. It will be inspired by a character called Baymax comes from a sci-fi film, which is a
really big white, adorable, soft robot. It may cost about 2,000 dollars, in the interest of doing
many things. For example, Baymax can do houseworks such as doing the laundry, sweeping the
floor, cooking meals, and so on. In addition, it can play music, protect our house and first aid for
sick people. In conclusion, in the not-to-distance future, everyone in this world will need a
robot which is a useful thing to live with. “
* Topic 4: Communication
-Currently, social networks and multimedia have become so popular. In my opinion, they are getting more and
more popular because of the convenience and usefulness in socializing with people around the world. Therefore,
we can improve our English skills as well as have online friends who you can talk with when your friends can’t. In
addition, we can find the latest news or informations about things we need in our lives instead of buying books or
newspaper. However, from my own point of view, I prefer face-to-face communicating which is my favourite way
to communicate to texting or emailing. As u know, when u communicate f2f, you can do eyes contact, body
languages, express your emotions so we can listen and understand with our eyes, ears, guts and perceptual filters.
Moreover, I’d rather look at the other one’s face than look at the meaningless texts. As far as I can see good
communication is crucial to sales success. Good communication skills in sales are efficient ways to build a good
client relationship. It also helps build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients. Besides that, I give my family
a call every day. Nowadays, almost everyone owns a cellphone, so keeping in touch is not a big concern. It’s easier
when you can talk on the phone while completing other tasks, such as doing household chores or going out. I
consider that the best way to keep in touch with friends is f2f meetings as we can understand what each other
want to say through eyes contact, body languages and avoid miscommunication in case we are close. If we lived far
from the others, we would have to text or send letters but at least we can communicate. Furthermore, I never
written any letters by hand, due to living in a modern era, I have never had a chance to write one. Nevertheless, I
received a letter last week from my grandpa who sent me some of the flowers he grows in his garden. However, a
large portion of my work is writing emails. We will write and send emails to our teachers if we have to submit our
assignments or we have some questions about the lesson. I generally write 2 or 3 emails per week, and twice
week, I also sends emails to my friends and my family. To be honest, I don’t think computers might one day replace
handwriting. Although most of everything is modernized, it doesn’t mean that computers might replace
handwriting. Additionally, it’s vital for children to learn how to write, and for some people the feelings when they
note something down make they feel more creative. Anyways, I make phone calls everyday, usually about 3 phone
calls to talk with my friends while doing homework at home so I can finish it more easily. The one who I spend
most of the time talking on the telephone to would be one of my close friends, YQ. Depending on each people
point of view, I contact with my friends through texts messages, but my parents enjoy having phone calls. Well, I
don’t enjoy it when people’s phones ring in a movie theater or during a lesson, and I don’t like while we are talking
but they always look at the phone and don’t pay attention to the conversation, which is so annoying. When I’m
setting up something basic, like an appointment to meet someone, I prefer to send a text message. A phone call is
not necessary in those circumstances

-“From my point of view I prefer face-to-face communicating which is my favourite way to

communicate to texting or emailing. As u know, when u communicate f2f, you can do eyes
contact, body languages, express your emotions so we can listen with our eyes, ears, guts and
understand by perceptual filters, including gender age, culture, background and other similar
things. Moreover, I’d rather look at the other one’s face than look at the meaningless texts. As
far as I can see f2f communicating is crucial to sales success, as when we consult directly, we
can clearly understand what customers want through their facial expressions. Besides that,
communicating skills in sales are efficient ways to build a good client relationship. It also helps
build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients. On the other hand, we can not deny the
convenience and usefulness of texting and messages since we can improve our English skills as
well as have new online friends from all over the world, which seems to be really interesting. In
short, I would like to keep this kind of communication for good (?).
* Topic 3:
-No one expects to be caught in a potentially dangerous and extreme situation such as a natural
disaster. If this occurs, having a plan and knowing what to do will be able to help you stay safe
during a disaster. Firstly, you must be aware of your risks and listen to your radio to keep up
with the important updates and instructions from local authorities. Therefore, you will have
enough time to prepare everything perfectly. In addition, you should create an emergency plan
including having a safe area or shelter to stay in during a natural disaster, preparing a natural
disaster survival kit. Finally, staying in your safe area and do not drive until the danger has
passed. In short, you have to remember that your life is much more crucial than the property so
protect your life as much as possible.
* topic 2:
As far as I can see there are 67 english speaking countries all over the world and Australia which
is at the top 4 has about 26 million people speaking english. In addition, Australia is famous for
its beaches, art, unique animals. Firstly, you can visit Bondi which is one of the most famous
beaches in Australia . You can lie back and relax on the soft sand, enjoy a swim or sign up for a
surf lesson to break Bondi’s rolling waves. Furthermore, you must take a visit to Museum of Old
and New Art. It is a modern art venue surrounded by gorgeous landscaping and a leafy
vineyard. You can spend an entire day at MONA, exploring the mind-blowing exhibitions and
elaborate architect. Besides that, you ought to visit The Sydney Opera House which is One of
the most famous images for Australia. Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and now a
UNESCO World Heritage Site, this music, performing arts, and dining venue has dazzled
travelers since 1973. Last but not least, there are two species in Australia that are more famous
than the rest—fluffy, tree-hugging koalas and the equally iconic kangaroos. As I have noted,
Australia is an english speaking country that you should visit once in your life.
