1.

Why is it important to consider the above-mentioned dimensions in choosing the

right partner/spouse?
All the dimensions are different from one another as mentioned. Each of them
has a function in the life or status of a person. Despite their differences, they
coexist peacefully and enhance one another's abilities to do their respective
roles. A relationship with a person will become unbalanced if one dimension is
left out or ignored, which will prevent the whole from being completed. Or
worse, it will result to a relationship that is unhappy.

2. Why is choosing the right partner/spouse an important initial step in responsible

parenthood?
A crucial initial step to becoming a responsible parent is making the
appropriate choice, because being a parent is a step that cannot be
reversed anytime. It is not a game that we can stop playing or shut down the
moment we feel defeated by challenges and resume whenever we want or
need to. Being a parent involves more than just two people falling in love; we
also need to consider that the children, who make up most of the family, which
will be most adversely affected by any problems that will arise in the place
they called home. So, if someone wants to settle, then settle for those people
who is willing to co-exist until death and play the part they have promised you
to.

3. Library Work: Look for sources on “The Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive
Health Act of 2012” Specify how it shows the importance of spacing children or
family planning.

A couple or individual can select what is best for their sexual and reproductive
health with the help of family planning. A couple can achieve financial security
and be able to establish a family they can properly support by carefully spacing
their pregnancies.

Family planning does not only speak about the necessity of the children, but
also in many other things. Family planning can reduce the risk of illegal
abortion within a country, minimizes the victims of pregnancy complications,
adolescent pregnancies can be reduced, Infant mortality rates can be cut
down, and sexually transmitted infections can be prevented.

Overall, family planning is a crucial factor to take into account while deciding
whether to become a parent.

4. Policies/Laws in the Philippines

In the Philippines there’s no law governing Sex Reassignment and Effects. For it
is stated in the Civil Register Law that the sex of a person is determined at
birth, visually done by the birth attendant (the physician or midwife) by
examining the genitals of the infant. Considering that there is no law legally
recognizing sex reassignment, the determination of a person’s sex made at the
time of his or her birth, if not attended by error, is unchangeable.

In conclusion, the Supreme Court ruled that a person’s first name and sex
cannot be changed on the ground of sex reassignment or sex alteration or sex
change because there is no law allowing such.

5. Policies/Laws in another Asian Country

In other parts of Asia like in Thailand, there is a law permitting a sex change
for an individual. This regulation is called “Regulation of the Medical Council
Concerning Ethics in the Medical Profession Rules for Treatment in Sex Change
Operations 2552 B.E. (2009 A.D.).”

According to this law, "therapy for a sex change procedure" refers to the
process of changing one's physical features from being male to female or
female to male in order to treat a sickness or an unstable state of mind.

If a person wishes to have a sex change operation, the Medical Council's

established requirements must be followed, and the person must pass an
evaluation and receive certification from two psychiatrists that the operation is
required.

But as far as the government of Thailand is concerned, male-to-female

transsexuals are legally men. Transsexuals cannot legally change their gender
on their ID cards, leading to problems with potential employers. Transsexuals'
birth gender must remain the same on their passports as well; a fact that can
lead to confusion and unwanted inspection at border crossings and immigration
checkpoints.

6. Policies/Laws in a European or Western Country

In most western countries, sex change are allowed, but should legally
performed correctly. For example, in Florida, the Administrative Code: Fla.
Admin. Code Ann. r. 64V-1.003(1)(f) (2006) which states that Florida Office of
Vital Statistics policy allows for the change of sex designation on birth
certificates upon the provision of: a completed Application for Amended Birth
Certificate and notarized Affidavit of Amendment to Certificate of Live Birth; a
certified copy of a court order of name change; a sworn affidavit from the
physician who performed sex reassignment surgery, containing the medical
license number, stating that you have completed sex reassignment in
accordance with appropriate medical procedures and that you are now
considered to be a member of the reassigned gender; and the required fee.

7. Oral Exposition: Briefly share your main insights on what you have researched.

Laws governing gender transformation differ from country to country. The

people or traditions of a certain nation are one aspect that I believe contribute
to or strongly influence these decisions or the implementation of laws. It is by
their openness to accept changes in the environment or to their customs. We
can see that there are more western countries than Asian ones that permit
legalized homosexual acts. Because most Asian nations are accustomed to
particular beliefs and traditions, it might be difficult for them to embrace new
developments brought about by younger generations. Although sex change is an
issue that is quite serious, it should still be taken into consideration because it
benefits individuals who are eager to improve themselves.

The following are the advantages of family planning to certain role or

individuals.
For the mother:
 Enables her to regain her health after delivery.
 Gives enough time and opportunity to love and provide attention to her
husband and children.
 Gives more time for her family and own personal advancement.
 When suffering from an illness, gives enough time for treatment and
recovery.
For the Children:
 Will get all the attention, security, love, and care they deserve.
For the father:
 Lightens the burden and responsibility in supporting his family.
 Enables him to give his children their basic needs.
 Gives him time for his family and own personal advancement.
