MUUTOSVAIHEET
• Pilottiöljypumppu
1. Poista pilottiöljyputki imupuolen
liitoskappaleen ja duplex-suodattimen
väliltä (pos. 1, kuva 1). Sulje aukiolevat
liitännät umpilaipoilla 0032A177001 ja
0032A154701.
2. Poista pilottiöljyputki duplex suodattimen
ja pilottipumpun väliltä (pos. 2, kuva 1).
Sulje liitäntä suodattimessa, tulpalla
006240202 ja liitinmutterilla 006240009.
3. Poista vuotoöljyputket varoventtiilistä ja
pilottipumpusta (pos. 3, kuva 1). Sulje
aukiolevat liitännät tulpilla 006240194
(φ10) ja 006240183 (φ8) sekä liitinmut-
tereilla 006240005 ja 006240004
4. Poista pilottiöljyputki pilottipumpusta,
(pos. 4, kuva 1). Sulje aukioleva liitäntä
varoventtiilin pesässä tulpalla, komp.
006110174.
5. Poista pilottipumppu yhdessä joustavan
kytkimen ja sähkömoottorin kanssa.
• Hot box / sylinterinkansi
1. Poista pilottiöljyputkien ja puhtaan vuoto-
öljyjärjestelmän välillä olevat puhtaan
vuotoöljyn letkut/putket (pos. 6, kuva 2.1
ja 2.2). Sulje aukiolevat liitännät (pos. 5
kuvat 2.1 ja 2.2) tulpalla, komp. 6240183
ja liitinmutterilla 6240004 sekä kierrelii-
täntä (pos.12 kuvat 2.1 ja 2.2) tulpalla,
komp. 6110011.
2. Liitinputki (pos. 7, kuva 3), poistetaan ja
putken molemmat päädyt suojataan lialta.
Liitinkappale (pos. 9, kuva 3), asennetaan

MODIFICATION STAGES
• Pilot fuel pump
1. Remove the pilot fuel pipe between the
connection piece at the inlet and the duplex
filter, item 1, picture 1. Plug the open
connections with blind flanges
0032A177001 and 0032A154701.
2. Remove the pilot fuel pipe between the
duplex filter and the pilot pump, item 2,
picture 1. Plug the connection in the filter
with plug 006240202 and union nut
006240009.
3. Remove the leak fuel pipes from the safety
valve and the pilot pump, item 3, picture 1.
Plug the open connections with plugs
006240194 (φ10) and 006240183 (φ8) and
with union nuts 006240005 and 006240004
4. Remove the pilot fuel pipe from the pilot
pump, item 4, picture 1. Plug the open
connection in safety valve housing with
plug, comp. 006110174.
5. Remove the pilot pump together with the
flexible coupling and the electrical motor.
• Hot Box / Cylinder Head
1. Remove the clean leak fuel hoses/pipes
(item 6, pictures 2.1 and 2.2) between pilot
fuel pipes and clean leak fuel system. Plug
the open connections (item 5, pictures 2.1
and 2.2) with comp. 6240183, closing plug
and union nut, comp. 6240004. Close thread
connection (item 12, pictures 2.1 and 2.2)
with plug, comp. 6110011.
2. Connection piece, item 7, picture 3, has to
be removed and both ends of pipe have to be

3. Ruiskutusventtiili (pos. 8, kuva 3) on
vaihdettava DF-sylinterikannen ruiskutus-
venttiiliin 3216L0082, piirustus
3V16L0589. Jos installaatiossa on kevyt-
öljyruiskutuspumpput, ne vaihdetaan
raskasöljypumppuihin.
4. Poista suutinöljyn jäähdytysputket (pos.10,
kuva 4). Sulje öljynsyöttö tulpalla
6260183 ja mutterilla 6240004. Putken,
pos.11, tilalle asennetaan tulppa
4V31E0242, o-rengas 3371517 ja ruuvi
4250054.
5. Moottorin voiteluöljy vaihdetaan laatuun
jossa korkea TBN-arvo.
HUOM!
Älä käynnistä pilottipumppua näiden
muutosten jälkeen. Ennen käynnistämistä
KAIKKI polttoaineputkistot on puhdistet-
tava raskaasta polttoöljystä ja muusta
liasta. Poistetut putket asennetaan takaisin
ja pilottipumpun kammio täytetään
kevyellä polttoöljyllä ennen pumpun
käynnistämistä.
• WECS
1. Aseta WOIS:ssa (Wärtsilä Operator
Interface System) pilottipumppu pois
käytöstä asettamalla Profibus osoite “pilot
fuel enabled” arvoon 0.
Kiinnitä erityisesti huomiota ruiskutus-
venttiilien johtoihin. Kiinnitä ne huolella
etteivät kaapelit edes vahingossa pääsee imu-
ja pakoventtiilien jouseen, tai poista ne
syl.kannen kotelosta. Jos kaapelit poistetaan
syl.kannen kotelosta, kaapelin reikä on
suljettava tulpalla. Sen lisäksi huolehdi siitä,
että kaapelin navat eivät aiheuta oikosulkua.

Connection piece on item 9, picture 3, have
to be reassembled afterwards, and pilot fuel
pipes reconnected in order to keep them in
place and protect the ends from dirt.
3. Injection valve on item 8, picture 3, to be
changed to injection valve for DF-cylinder
head, 3216L0082, drawing 3V16L0589. If
the engine has LFO injection pumps, they
have to be changed to HFO injection pumps.
4. Dismantle nozzle cooling oil pipes (item 10,
picture 4). Shut oil feed with plug 6240183
and nut 6240004. Replace pipe, item 11,
with plug 4V31E0242, o-ring 3371517 and
screw 4250054.
5. Change engine oil to a quality with high
TBN-value.
NOTE!
Do not run pilot pump after these
modifications. Before running the pump
ALL fuel pipe systems must be cleaned
from HFO and other kind of dirt. Pipes must
be remounted and pump casing filled up
with LFO before starting the pump.
• WECS
1. Disable the pilot fuel system in the WOIS
(Wärtsilä Operator Interface System) by
setting Profibus address: “pilot fuel
enabled” to 0.
Pay attention to the cables to the pilot injection
valves. Secure the cable so it will not be in
contact with the inlet and exhaust valve springs
or remove it from the cylinder head cover. If
the cable is removed the hole in the cylinder
head cover must be plugged. It should also be
paid attention to the cable ends so that they do
not cause short circuits.
